David Archuleta Brings Heart and Healing to the Earthly Delight Tour
September 19, 2025

At David Archuleta’s recent Earthly Delight tour stop, fans were quick to share just how much his music means to them. I spoke with three concertgoers at the barricade—Skyler, Krisa, and Katelyn—whose answers painted a beautiful picture of Archuleta’s impact. For Skyler, who grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, “Hell Together” resonated deeply as a reflection of his own journey. Krisa lit up when talking about “Crush,” calling it a timeless song that never fails to make her dance. Katelyn also connected with “Hell Together,” sharing how the track reminded her of coming out to her mom, a process that strengthened their bond and gave her confidence. When asked to sum up Archuleta in emojis, they laughed and answered: 🔥, 🥵, and 🤩—proof that his music inspires both fun and heartfelt connection.

The show itself was a journey through Archuleta’s career, blending his new Earthly Delight tracks with fan-favorite hits. He opened the night with “Dulce Amor” and guided the crowd through grounding breaths before launching into songs like “Give You the World,” “Crème Brûlée,” and “Fade to Black.” Fans danced nonstop as Archuleta moved across the stage with his backup dancers, radiating joy. Longtime followers were thrilled to hear older hits like “Touch My Hand” and “Crush,” as well as singles spanning his career, including “Faith in Me,” “I’m Yours,” and his newest release “Freedom.” One standout moment came when Archuleta performed an acoustic cover of Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club,” showing both his artistry and willingness to celebrate other rising voices in pop music.

Perhaps the most powerful moment of the night came when Archuleta introduced “Hell Together.” With emotion in his voice, he shared how the internet had already “come out” for him, and how his relationship with his mom has grown since then. The crowd cheered as he invited her onstage, where she hugged him and reassured the audience with the unforgettable words: “Hell is pretty great.” In a post-show interview, Archuleta explained that with Earthly Delight he hopes fans learn to embrace their sensual, human side and feel confident in who they are. He encouraged concertgoers to come ready to dance, heal, and experience transformation through music. Archuleta also reflected on unforgettable fan interactions and milestone moments, reminding everyone why his artistry continues to matter nearly two decades after American Idol. His music remains a safe space—an escape, a celebration, and above all, a reminder to be fully yourself
