Plain White T’s Bring a Heartfelt Night of Nostalgia and New Energy to Park City
AUGUST 1 ,2025

The Plain White T’s lit up Park City on August 1st with a setlist that danced through nearly two decades of their discography. From early hits like “All That We Needed” to new standouts off their 2023 self-titled album like “Feeling More Like Myself” and “Red Flags,” the night was an emotional ride through time for fans both seasoned and brand-new. The band’s signature mix of pop-punk energy and acoustic tenderness came alive on stage, with crowd favorites like “1,2,3,4,” “Boomerang,” and “Light Up the Room” triggering full-audience singalongs and swaying phone lights. Every beat felt intentional, and every lyric hit home.

Among the sea of fans was a sweet story of firsts: Jacen, a longtime fan from Ogden, surprised her friend Brynn with her first-ever concert experience. When asking Jacen what her favorite song is and why she told me “Hate (I Really Don’t Like You)”, because is makes her feel that she can release her hatred for certain things in life. While Brynn gushed about “1,2,3,4”. being her favorite because it makes her feel something unlike any other song she heard. when asking the girls how would they describe the Plain White T's in three emojis Brynn said 🥰💘🤩 and Jacen said 🤍😊⭐️.
Their smiles mirrored the entire crowd’s reaction. The band then left the stage after playing “Hate,” When the band returned for an encore, Tom Higgenson recalled how Utah’s own 94.1 radio station was the first to ever play "Hey There Delilah" on the airwaves.

As Higgenson strummed the first few notes of “Delilah,” the audience lit up. It was the kind of moment that reminded everyone why they fell in love with live music in the first place. Before the final chorus, he invited the crowd to sing with him one more time, and every voice lifted in unison — a harmony of memory, emotion, and connection. The Plain White T’s proved that while time may pass, a great song — and a great show — will always stay with you.
